Dear Sue,

I forward this message from FAPA HQ to you, hoping that you would forward it to all TAA-DFW members.  It is sooooooo easy to sign on to support Taiwan using this newly acquired software by FAPA.  It is particularly easy for us, members of TAA-DFW because our membership directory has got the 9-digit zip code for every member's address.  I just tried and it took me less than 2 minutes and my message has already been sent to my House of Representative, Joe Barton.

Please just click the blue wordings "Take Action!" in the message sent by Iris and following the instruction (Please look up your 9-digit zip code in the TAA-DFW Membership Directory before you start).  You can "personalize" the message; you can add a picture of yours (so your Congressman can recognize you) or you can just send the "generic" message provided which will then take only a couple of minutes for the message to get to your Congressman.

From now on whenever there's an issue you'd like to communicate with your Congressman, you can use this link and your message will get across.  Of course a personalized letter is better (a hand written one sent by snail mail takes time but will get noticed even better) but if everyone uses a couple of minutes of his time to do it, your Congressman will take note because of the volume of mails (messages) he gets.

If you have any questions, please let me know.  Thank you very much!!

Nora

Ask your Members of Congress to Support Taiwan!

Don't let China dictate our foreign policy.  Take Action!

Supporting democracy should not be compromised!

Currently, Taiwan's President, Vice President, Premier, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense cannot travel freely to this country. And, they cannot step on the soil within 30 miles of the nation's capital.  Why? Because the U.S. is afraid that the government of China will retaliate if we permit such visits by the Taiwanese high-level officials.

This is American soil. It should be our perogative to decide who can visit our country and who cannot. Not the Communist Chinese leaders in Beijing!

Click the "Take Action" link and tell your Congress to take back our foreign policy initiative!
